Escrow
Once the negotiation is finished and your offer is accepted, your agent will open an escrow account with an escrow company here on Maui.

Your earnest deposit check will be made out to them and they will hold all funds until closing and then disburse all funds as appropriate.

They will compile all documents to be properly executed, and will initiate a title search. The title will be provided for your review and they will work with you to clear title should there be any discrepancies.

The average time from getting the contract accepted to closing is about 45-60 days, although shorter or longer closings can be negotiated.

Every transaction is unique, so we will monitor all of the details very closely, keeping you informed every step of the way.
