 I
am originally from Oakland, California, where I grew up in the
family real estate, investment business. My Dad always had about
ten properties in various stages of remodeling and renovation
at any given time. Instead of playing with dollhouses I was his
little assistant. After Junior College, I left Oakland to travel
the world, and spent three years in Asia appreciating the culture
and lifestyle.
In 1971, I moved to Hawaii. I spent fifteen years on Oahu, where
I learned to honor the Hawaiian culture, and explored my creativity
in architectural and textile art projects. I also explored the
movement arts.. It was on Oahu that the hereditary urge to remodel
and renovate came to fruition. I became a realtor and completed
several projects before moving to Maui in 1985.
Once on Maui, I actively pursued being an owner builder and renovator
of several Houses. I am currently building and enjoying the creative
process. I continued to develop my interest in the arts and owned
an interior design and antique store for several years. I also
was able to take advantage of windsurfing, aerobic dance instructing,
horseback riding, hiking, and biking. If it was outdoors and you
could appreciate the beauty of this land, I was there. Here on
Maui, I have been fortunate to find full expression for my artistic
vision and business background My current interest is to help
my Clients realize their Maui dreams and explore the full potential
of a true Hawaiian Life style.
