Born in Hamburg, Germany, Marion Haller came to the United States when she was only 10. She earned her degree in both German and English literature, and before she found her way to Haiku she honed her business acumen in New York. She has been a meeting planner, a corporate marketing consultant, an entrepreneur and a vice president for Citibank in New York City.

She has traveled extensively and was an avid skier. Now that she has chosen a more peaceful island life, she relishes spending time with her husband and young son at the beach or hiking to waterfalls--simply enjoying the nature of Maui. She also pursues pottery, jewelry making and Tai Chi.

She has a wonderful appreciation for her life here and gives back to her community by volunteering in her son’s classroom and serving on the governing council of his school.

Marion is also a member of Haiku's Team of Choice.
